As with any new parent, the first few weeks and months can be amazing, challenging and somewhat overwhelming.
A Modern Family understands parenting and all its trials, triumphs and tribulations, we are adoptive parents too. Chances are whatever you are feeling, we’ve felt that way.

Life After Fostering or Adoption Package
This package is for those who have recently welcomed a new child into their family whether that be as a foster carer, through local adoption, or via international adoption.
Parenting a child from another mother has its own set of unique challenges.
Parenting a child of a different ethnicity to you also has responsibilities that are essential for your child to maintain their individual identity.
Parenting a child who has already been parented can take some time for both of you to adjust to a new way of being. As can parenting a child who has never been parented before due to living most of their life in an orphanage or care home.
A Modern Family Founder Dr Kate Heard understands what it is to be both a foster caregiver and an adoptive mother. She understands the challenges you will likely face and how best to tackle them to ensure everyone in the family feels safe, heard and ultimately loved.
Package One Includes:
• Initial 30-minute Discovery Call.
• Five 60-minute Clarity Coaching Sessions to help you with any immediate problems or anxieties you may be facing.
• A customised plan to help you move forward with your current issue and to troubleshoot any other issues that may arise as a result.
• A list of support networks and services.
• A list of helpful answers to the many questions that may arise regarding your fostered or adopted child with family, friends and strangers alike.
• Access to A Modern Family Fostering and Adoption Facebook Group with exclusive access to parents who created or extended their families through fostering or adoption.
Package Two Includes:
• Initial 30-minute Discovery Call.
• Twelve 60-minute Clarity Coaching Sessions designed to ensure that you receive the guidance and support you need for the first six months after your child comes home. These calls can be used as and when you need them throughout those six months.
• 24/7 Voxer access to ensure the questions you have are answered right when you need them to be.
• A customised plan to assist with a smooth transition for both your child and you as parents for the first six months home.
• A list of support networks and services.
• A list of helpful answers to the many questions that • may arise regarding your fostered or adopted child with family, friends, and strangers alike.
• Access to A Modern Family Fostering and Adoption Facebook Group with exclusive access to parents who created or extended their families through fostering or adoption.
